Mindy McCready Reveals Truth About Affair!

Country singing star, Mindy McCready has finally admitted her long time affair with the former Toronto Blue Jays and Red Sox ace player, Roger Clemens.

Clemens, 45, who is currently under investigation by the FBI on charges of perjury in an ongoing steroid investigation as well as a defamation suit against the man who accused him of taking performance-enhancing drugs, met Mindy when she was just 15 years old and he was 28 years old and married with 2 children.

In New York Daily News McCready, 34, revealed the two became close friends when they met in a karaoke bar in Florida and it wasn’t until she became a country star and moved to Nashville that the two became intimate.

In the interview Mindy confessed, “Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time,” McCready said in a prepared statement. “He’s a kind and caring man. He’s also a legendary athlete.’

McCready’s mother, Gayle Inge, has said she is unaware of how close the singer and the baseball player ever became but that he was a complete gentleman when she met him.

Clemens stuck by Mindy when she was in abusive relationships, pleaded guilty to falsifying prescriptions to get pain medications, attempted suicide, and was sent to jail for six months for violating the terms of her probation. The story said Clemens sent her FedEx boxes stuffed with cash to help her deal with her legal problems.

The story is denied by Clemens who states his relationship with Mindy never strayed beyond friendship.

From his head to his chin, footballer David Beckham seems to have missed the fact that his excess of hair should in fact be on his head not on, and under, his chin.

Beckham, known for his trend setting male grooming has definitely eschewed his usual high standards in favour of a more ‘radical’ look. Radical as in Taliban radical!

David showed off his new look as he jogged onto the pitch for the Los Angeles Galaxy football team on Sunday. But maybe his new look actually helped the normally struggling team as they left the pitch having secured a 5-2 win over Chivas, USA.

With Tom Cruise and his children cheering Golden Balls on from the sidelines, maybe the bearded Beckham was sending some kind of subliminal message to Cruise that scientology wasn’t going to be his religion of choice, looking more like a refugee from Afghanistan than an immaculately ‘suit clad’ Scientologist!

Amy Winehouse: From Prison to Payroll

It was a mish-mash weekend for troubled singer Amy Winehouse as first she was seen in the loving arms of her new man, 22 year old Alex Haines, and the next moment she’s seen slapping some guy outside her local in Camden Town.

Needless to say, the rest of the night was spent alone in the cells at Holborn police station in much the same way as her poor incarcerated husband, Blake Civil Fielder.

Then came some more sweet news for Amy as she is seen riding high in the tenth position on the Young Music Millionaire list after having amassed a £10 million fortune over her short singing career.

Then to top off the bitter sweet weekend Amy’s own father, Mick, has indicated that he would like to see his daughter sectioned under the mental health laws in England. But the 57-year-old taxi driver acknowledged his chances of having Winehouse committed to a psychiatric hospital were slim.

He also intimated that in his opinion it would have been Amy who pursued Alex in the relationship and not the other way around. Guess that’s gonna be just music to Blake’s little ears while he wastes away in Pentonville Prison!

The title Material Girl wasn’t given to Madonna for no reason as it now seems she is one of the wealthiest women in the UK having secured the number 25 on the list of Britain’s 100 wealthiest women with an estimated fortune of $600 million dollars.

Welsh actress, Catherine Zeta Jones also made the list along with her American actor husband Michael Douglas which saw them ranking in at number 43 with $370 million.

David Beckham and wife Posh Spice landed the 62nd spot with an estimated fortune of $250 million and the Sharon Osbourne and wacky husband Ozzy Osbourne came in at number 69 with a shared fortune of $220 million.

The King is Dead But Rumours Still Abound!

Maybe there’s some truth in the words of Kirsty McColl’s 1981 single, which states, There’s a Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He’s Elvis, because now rumours are emerging that The King, Elvis Presley, did in fact make a visit to England in 1958 when he teamed up with Half a Sixpence star, Tommy Steele on a whistle stop tour of London‘s most famous sights.

However, a spokesman for Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis, Tennessee, denied the secret trip ever took place, and insisted that the only time Elvis was on British soil was when he was returning to the U.S. to wrap up an army tour.

But theatre impresario Bill Kenwright insists Elvis flew to London for a day’s sightseeing.

Tommy, now 71, said in a written note to London’s Daily Mail that he wished the secret had never come out. “I can only hope he can forgive me,” he said of Presley, who died in 1977 at the age of 42. “It was an event shared by two young men sharing the same love of their music and the same thrill of achieving something unimaginable.”

Amy Winehouse has reportedly been offered a $2 million book deal by Penguin books in which she will talk about her weird and not so wonderful life style, if she can manage to recall most of it through her drug sapped brain.

But can there really be anything we don’t already know about the 5 time Grammy Award winner, as on a daily basis she reveals new material to the tabloids.

Winehouse will also talk about her marriage to Blake Civil Fielder, which should be a fairly short chapter as he has been in jail for most of their marriage.

Heather Mills, The Working Girl!

Well, she certainly had the mouth for the job! Both ‘big’ and ‘foul’.

The UK television channel, Channel 4, is running a documentary tonight in which an ‘old friend’ of Heather Mills’s claims both she and Paul McCartney’s gold digging ex wife worked together in the 1980’s as high class prostitutes. Maybe the ‘high class’ may be a bit of a stretch, but prostitute we’ll go with!!!

During her 20’s Mills was struggling to make a living and along with Denise Hewitt, now 44, entertained men for £10,000 a night offering sex and acting out lesbian fantasies for their clients.

Mills’s friend (that’s the sort of friends this nasty bit of work seems to attract), Denise has said in the interview, ‘We used to get a lot of jewelry as gifts, rings, watches, Bulgari bracelets, cars. The world was our oyster. We enjoyed it,’ Denise says on the programme.

‘We would have full-on sex with a guy. We went into high-class prostitution behind closed doors. Girls in Newcastle go out and do it for free. But we’d get £10,000 for our girlie-girlie scenes.‘

It was Blake’s birthday this week and Amy was just having too much fun to bother herself to make a trip to the jail and take him a cake with a file hidden in it!

Reports say that Winehouse, 24, who just a few months ago was sobbing on stage for her jailed husband, who is charged with assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, didn’t even send the guy a birthday card.

The continued absence of his wife is seen to be the reason for Blake’s conversion to Catholicism while in Pentonville prison. That in itself will be a stumbling block to their marriage as Amy is Jewish! Oups!

Although Mr and Mrs Hilton, mummy and daddy of Paris Hilton state they just love Benji Madden to bits, surely they cant be too keen on the change Paris is making in her dress code.

Since dating the Good Charlotte band member, Madden, Paris seems to have given up the girlie pink shades and the skimpy little dresses that just about cover her stick thin figure and instead is kitting herself out with black leather, chunky silver crucifix, bling style rings, bright red lipstick and a look that is more akin to that of burlesque styled Dita Von Teese, than the clothes horse socialite we have come to know.

Just this week Paris was spotted strutting, rather than tottering, in black leather motorcycle style boots and carrying an oversized black leather handbag.

Its becoming difficult to tell her apart from Benji, will we see her colouring her hair jet black or piling it high in the Amy Winehouse beehive style in the next few weeks and sporting visible ‘Guns and Roses’ style tattoos.
