Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving a hair salon in Los Angeles today. Guess by the state of her hair they couldn’t fit her in today! And if they did, she should be heading straight to the compensation courts.
We want the name of the salon, just to make sure we don’t go there!

Well it’s certainly been a while since we’ve heard from this little lady. Nine-time Grammy Winner Norah Jones recently sat down with the Chicago Sun-Times to discuss the blush worthy perks of her first acting experience in My Blueberry Nights.
The movie, which is a character-driven drama, focuses on a young woman’s turbulent breakup and her attachment to an all-night diner where she spends hours quietly chatting with the chivalrous owner played by Jude Law.
After finally getting her fill of the culinary artists’ famous blueberry pie, she sets off on a trek around the United States in an effort to find herself.
Although Jones has made more than a name for herself and is celebrated on many continents, she has essentially stayed humble…very humble.
“I had to kiss Jude about 90 times and I didn’t want to laugh, but it seemed so ridiculous,” the 28-year-old giggled. “What in the world am I doing kissing Jude Law? He’s Jude…and I’m…me.”
Just because she has never participated in a film does not mean she’s unable to bring anything to the screen, as director Kar-Wai Wong actually used her lack-of-background to his advantage.
“He told me not to take acting lessons,” Jones divulged. “He just wanted me to be raw and natural. So in many ways the entire movie was one big acting lesson.”
And one big make out session!

As Carrie Bradshaw says in the voice over at the beginning of Sex and the City as she leaves the night club called Paris, ‘even in New York you can have Paris.’
Its been four years since we had a taste, and now its nearly time again! May 28th is rapidly approaching and all of us Sex and the City fans have the date well and truly circled on our calendars and are busy gathering together all our Manolo Blahnik shoes, our Prada dresses and sipping the cosmopolitans while teetering around in 4 inch heels ready for that first night screening of the new big screen version of Sex and the City.
But, there’s one thing we don’t have….yet! It would appear that along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis there is a new star in the movie.
Although the plot has been kept a bigger secret than the D Day Landings there are still those little snippets of photographs from the set that have been released to whet our appetites. So as the anticipation builds we are studying the fashion ‘stills’ of the movie.
And what is that we see? A 6,300 Swarovski crystal-encrusted handbag in the shape of Paris’s Eiffel Tower.
Before Carrie Bradshaw, played by SJP, fell romantically into the arms of Mr Big, aka Chris Noth, in the final episode, she had trailed across the Atlantic to France’s capital city, Paris, in a bid to make a life for herself with Aleksandr Petrovsky a puffed up egotistical Russian artist, played by ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikova. While there, she bought herself a little keep sake of her mission, an Eiffel Tower handbag.
The handbag was created for Sarah’s character by Patricia Field who was the designer on for The Devil Wears Prada which starred Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep.
The little ‘must have’ accessory is carved from acacia wood by an obscure Californian designer called Timmy Woods who was also responsible for the ‘horse head’ handbag used by Miss Bradshaw in an episode of SATC.
Patricia Field has a store in the Bowery area of Greenwich Village, Manhattan, a shop, or more an emporium, that is packed with accessories and jaw dropping clothes. It is here that The Eiffel Tower bag becomes more affordable than at the original designer’s store in Beverly Hills. Being made of less expensive materials, and missing the signature crystals, but none the less a must have piece for the eccentric, kooky, fashion slave.
At $400 it is far more affordable than its West coast counterpart which will set you back almost the price of a mortgage deposit with a price tag of $2,750. And we thought Eliot Spitzer paid a lot for his Sex in the City!!!
A little word of encouragment for all you tree huggers out there, when Timmy Woods makes his handbags they are from ‘fallen acacia trees’ and for every tree he uses he replants 2 more in their place!

Where to begin?
Its ‘rekindled love’ ‘engaged’, ‘marrying’ and married and all in one breath. Will there be no unattached people in Hollywood by the end of this year. George Clooney is all snuggled up with Sarah Larson, Paris Hilton has her Benji Madden, Beyonce just got spliced to Jay Z and that’s not all!
First, we hear that Sean Penn and wife, Robin Wright Penn have decided to rekindle their broken relationship after Sean attended a birthday party for Robin. The couple apparently filed a dismissal in court yesterday and had it granted.
Well time will tell if the original problems for the break up have been resolved or if they will raise their ugly heads again sometime in the future. Guess it’s a case of ‘cant live with him, cant live without him!
Finally Ashlee Simpson’s rep has scotched the rumours of the engagement of her favourite little starlet, revealing that she is in fact engaged to boyfriend Pete Wentz!
Ashlee posted a note on friendsorenemies.com earlier today confirming her engagement to Pete saying, “We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best.” Isn’t that cute?
“Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes, it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
Although the couple are expected to marry sometime this year, if more rumours are to be believed it could be sooner rather than later, Ashlee may be pregnant, but that’s probably just a nasty rumour!
Then to top it all Penelope Cruz is all set to marry No Country for Old Men star, Javier Bardem.
The smolderingly good looking Bardem is said to have proposed to Penelope during a recent romantic holiday in France.
Although with most news in Hollywood this is just a rumour right now as neither couple, or their reps, has confirmed it. But, judging by the amount of time the couple spend together there still could be some truth in it and the months to come will be the proof of the pudding!

The one time Playboy cover girl and ‘close’ friend of Hugh Hefner is being given her own reality show. Now, the cynics among us may say with the life she’s led it should be a sit com, but no, its definitely a reality show.
E! Online has billed the upcoming show in the following manner, in the words of executive producer Randy Barbato the statement read:

Looking more like Mama Cass of the Mamas and the Papas than the daughter of the most beautiful couple in Hollywood during the 1960’s, Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley was out on the town with not only her baby bump but her husband, Michael Lockwood, when they enjoyed a romantic night, doubtless with copious amounts of food!
Rumoured to be expecting twins (and for her sake lest hope that’s not all one baby as she isn’t due to deliver until late August) Lisa was all for a comfortable night out wearing her extremely loose fitting black tent, and more comfortable than fashionable, black flip flops.
This will be Lisa’s third child from her fourth husband. She already has Riley, 18, and Ben, 15, from her first marriage to Danny Keough and her marriages to Nicholas Cage and Michael Jackson never produced children, which is probably best for all concerned in the case of Jackson!
In an interview with OK! Magazine Presley revealed that she is experiencing cravings. For fruit!
Lisa Marie said, “Fruit — it’s boring but that’s what I want. Any fruit: fruit smoothie, fruit juice — it’s good!”
So where is all that weight coming from?
Guess we’ll see her promoting Jenny Craig in early 2009.

After more than 6 million pounds of British and 6 months of testimony and evidence the jury in the court case in London investigating the deaths of Princess Diana and her friend Dodi Al Fayed have returned the verdict that, the couple died because of the “unlawful, negligent driving of the Mercedes and the following vehicles.”
Wasn’t all this obvious to any normal thinking person? The driver, Henry Paul was stewed out of his brains on alcohol and drugs, he was driving a car he didn’t normally drive, taking a route he didn’t normally drive, being pursed by the paparazzi and speeding at over 100 km. Isn’t that enough to spell, accident due to reckless driving and not conspiracy as Muhammad Al Fayed would have the world believe.
Coupled with the terrifying speeds Henry Paul was driving at on the night of the fateful crash, the couple who sat in the rear of the car were not wearing seat belts.
Maybe now everyone who has doubted the truth and facts relating to the untimely death of The Princess of Wales will accept the court’s findings and finally let Diana rest in peace and her sons Prince William and Prince Harry hear their mother’s name connected only with her life not her death.

Minnie Driver has kept her pregnancy pretty much a secret but there comes a time when all the elasticated waisted pants and skirts in the world cant hide that baby bump.
So Minnie, 38, revealed her growing baby bump at a film premiere in Los Angeles last night at the premiere of film Street Kings at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and later in an interview on the Jay Leno show.
Minnie was seen wearing a cleavage-revealing baby-doll blouse, and matching black trousers which served well for camouflaging her baby bump!
Last month on the Ellen Degeneres show Driver revealed that she would be happy to have a baby girl, but she admitted that there is one part of the process she could do without. “I don’t know why they call it morning sickness. I am sick morning, noon and night…but it’s a fair trade off”, she joked.
Although being a few months along Minnie is still keeping up a busy schedule as she has released an album, Seastories in the UK and is touring Europe, Hawaii and LA.
But after that, the star of Goodwill Hunting said, she’ll be getting in plenty of pre-baby rest and relaxation. “I’m just going to have the summer to be fat and happy,” she said.
Although the baby bump is now obvious, Minnie is not keen on making the name of the baby’s father obvious.

Jamie Lynn Spears is making plans to get married, probably months after the birth of her baby, to ensure she has regained her sylph like figure.
What a shame she didn’t think about planning the pregnancy that far in advance and after she was actually married.
Jamie, who is now 17 and pregnant with Casey Aldridges baby, has asked her sister Britney Spears to head the list of bridesmaids at the ‘planned’ event which will take place at their mother’s mansion in Louisiana after the birth.

Following her backstage encounters with all the little spawnings of The Spice Girls, Melanie Chisholm, Sporty Spice, Mel C, which ever title she holds these days, has revealed that she is now ready to join the rest of the clan and give the world yet another precautious break dancing brat.
Chisholm says, “Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, ‘Yeah I could be a good mum.’ “I used to say giving the children back was the best bit, but seriously all the girls are great mums… and they have given me the confidence to have a go.”
Maybe she could borrow David Beckham! According to his wife in a recent interview with OK magazine, he spends all day sha****g in an effort to help Posh stay thin! Cant guarantee that result if Mel C gets pregnant though!
