Lily Allen Has Miscarriage

Just two months after revealing that she was expecting a baby in 2008, British pop star Lily Allen has sadly lost the baby after experiencing a miscarriage following her return from a romantic holiday in the Maldives with My Chemical Romance boyfriend, Ed Simons.

Lily, 22, has, in recent months been known for her ‘party girl’ lifestyle which she had turned her back on after the unplanned but welcome pregnancy.

A source tells The Sun, “They are in a state of shock. The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are both absolutely heartbroken’ and the singer’s publicist has confirmed the devastating news, asking the media and fans to respect the singer’s privacy.

Add Another Unwed Mother to the Pile: Lily Allen

Lily Allen has confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with the child of boyfriend Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers. The 22-year-old has been dating Simons since September. So they have a nice, long foundation of three months to build on. Solid.

Despite the pregnancy, Lily’s new (and according to Lily, her last) album will be released next year.
